There are so many things to consider. You put it all together very nicely. I will hang on to this list. We actually moved a cabin onto our lake property which brings a whole new set of things to consider, haha. We are still learning actually but we are sooo happy we took the chance. We are looking forward to making lots of great memories at the lake! You may have touched on this, but we also had to consider all the regulations placed on lake properties as far as where you can build. You have to be so many feet from the lakeshore, you can only build stairs a certain width down to the lakeshore, etc. Environmental services became our friend and helped us out a lot with the whole process. You also have to consider all the permits needed if you are considering changing the property at all. Thank you for taking time to put your list together. Very helpful!!
