How are you spending your Saturday?

The forecast of a huge snow storm canceled school yesterday and my daughter’s soccer tournament in Green Bay. And the snow finally came last night. Sixteen inches of it! Luckily the sun came out this morning so the view is beautiful, but I must admit we are ready for it to go away. We are ready for Spring greens, grass and bulbs popping up.

WEEKLY WANDERLUST

Diana, my Shopkeep at White Arrows Home, and I did a quick run south to Chicago and back. We dropped off furniture to customers on the route along the way and then came back with a van load of new inventory.

We had an amazing dinner full of wonderful conversation with one of our customers that lives in Chicago.

On the way back we went through Milwaukee and stayed at a favorite boutique hotel, The Iron Horse. Had breakfast with my sister at an amazing spot! And then dropped in to surprise my daughter at work before finishing the three hour drive home.
