How are you spending your Saturday?

I’m visiting my daughter in Germany.

My other daughter and I flew over to spend a week with her.

It helps me as a mom to see and be in the places where my kids live so I can picture them there when we are far from each other.

What I realize most is how in awe I am of her bravery for coming across the world for the year. She is amazing!

We have had so much fun meeting the people in her life here, hiking in the Black Forest and visiting Christmas Markets.

The Christmas Markets so far have been just as amazing as I thought they’d be!
