How are you spending your Saturday?

I’m still in Germany visiting my daughter and we’ve had so many amazing adventures.

We went down to Salzburg, Austria for a few days and stayed at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron, the former home of Max Reinhardt.

If his name sounds familiar, then you may be a Sound of Music fan.

Parts of the movie were even filmed there!

His castle has now been turned into a hotel and Global Seminar Site.

It was a stunning place to stay and we were able to fully explore and enjoy the castle while we were there.

The library, the chapel, everything was amazing, truly a surreal experience.

Breakfast was served each morning in the great hall with views of the Alps out the windows.

Around every corner or door was something to discover and we were free to do so!

One of my favorites was the swing and the sign next to it.

Beautiful bike and walking paths led from the castle to the city center and all the historic sites in Old Town.

Dinners at restaurants within walking distance to the hotel were spectacular.

We made great memories!
