If you’re like me, life often feels like a balancing act—between family, work, church, personal goals, and everything in between.
As women, we juggle multiple roles, and it can often be in the midst of chaos and fatigue.

People comment often about the amount of things they see me do. The truth is, I don’t get everything done I intend to do. Every day doesn’t go the way I plan with a checklist completed.
But through it all, I’ve discovered that my faith is the foundation that keeps me going, enabling me to do all that I do, and more importantly, to do it with grace, purpose, and peace.
Don’t Be Intimidated
One of the biggest deterrents toward moving forward toward dreams is comparing ourselves to others. When we spend more time watching what others are doing and let that intimidate us, distract us or make us feel less than, we will not live in God’s purpose for us.
We have gifts, talents and dreams that God gave us to use and do His work with. In Galatians 6:4 we are encouraged with these words. “But let each one examine his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.”
So capturing those comparisons quickly is key. I also work on limiting the amount of time I spend on social media taking in other people’s content.
The Power of Faith in Every Area of Life
It’s easy to get caught up in the demands of everyday life and forget where our strength comes from. For me, faith in God is the fuel that propels me forward.
When I feel overwhelmed or unsure, I lean into my relationship with God. I turn to Scripture, prayer, and the quiet moments of reflection to recalibrate my heart and mind.
In Philippians 4:13, we are reminded: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse has become my anchor. Whether it’s managing my schedule, taking care of my family, or stepping out of my comfort zone to pursue a new project, I know I’m never doing it alone. God is right beside me, guiding my steps.
Finding Purpose in the Daily Grind
One of the most profound lessons I’ve learned is that even the most mundane tasks can be infused with purpose when seen through the lens of faith.
As women, we often put others’ needs first—whether it’s caring for our children, supporting our husbands, or leading in our communities. Yet, sometimes we forget that these acts of service are not just “duties” but expressions of love and purpose.
When I approach each task with the understanding that I’m serving God through my service to others, it transforms everything.
Whether I’m making dinner, folding laundry, or answering emails, I strive to do it with joy, as an offering to God. I remember Colossians 3:23, which says: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” This perspective shifts my mindset from seeing tasks as burdens to viewing them as opportunities to honor God and bless those around me.
Busy
One of the things people tend to say is that I am busy. I do not feel busy, my pace adjusts to the seasons of my life and is modified based on my having time for quiet, for family, for friends and my work. It is not busyness, it is filling my time with purpose and joy.
One of my friends often says we are all different sized boats and our capacity varies. It can change in different stages of life.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens,” it says in Ecclesiastes 3:1.
Leaning into God’s Strength, Not My Own
I do have days when I feel like I’m running on empty. The demands are high, the expectations are great, and my energy feels like it’s gone. But that’s when I remind myself: I don’t have to do it all in my own strength.
I’ve learned that when I lean into God’s strength, I am equipped to handle anything that comes my way. Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”
This promise reassures me that I don’t have to be superwoman, trying to do everything perfectly on my own. Instead, I can rely on God’s endless supply of strength, knowing He will give me what I need, when I need it.

Embracing Rest and Renewal
A vital part of doing all I do is remembering the importance of rest. As women, we often think we have to do it all and be everything to everyone. But the truth is, rest is not a luxury; it’s essential to our well-being and our ability to serve others. God Himself modeled rest, as we see in the creation story where He rested on the seventh day.
I have learned the importance of creating space for rest in my schedule. Whether it’s a quiet morning with my Bible and a cup of coffee, or a weekend getaway with loved ones, these moments of renewal are essential for maintaining balance.
Matthew 11:28 invites us: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” I hold onto this promise, allowing myself grace to recharge and come back to my tasks with renewed energy and perspective.
Finding Community and Support
We were never meant to do life alone. One of the greatest blessings I’ve experienced is the support of a strong community of women. I have amazing friends and coworkers who I love doing life with. Whether it’s my days working alongside the girls at White Arrows Home, fellow moms, through Bible study, or just having honest conversations with close friends, these connections provide encouragement, accountability, and wisdom.
Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” This verse reflects the power of community. We are meant to uplift one another, share our burdens, and celebrate our victories together.
I’ve learned that asking for help, leaning on others for prayer, and offering support in return are all ways we can strengthen each other in our walk of faith.
Trusting God’s Plan
Ultimately, how I do all I do comes down to trust. I trust that God has a plan for my life, a purpose for my days, and a reason for every season.
Sometimes, life doesn’t look how I imagined it would, but I have learned to trust that God is working all things together for my good. Romans 8:28 reassures us that, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
This trust allows me to release the pressure of perfection, knowing that my worth isn’t based on what I accomplish but on who I am in Christ.
With each step, I trust that God is leading me toward the next chapter of His perfect plan.
Empowered by Faith, Guided by Purpose
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired, or unsure of how to keep going, I encourage you to pause and reconnect with the source of your strength. Allow your faith to be the anchor in the storm, the light in the darkness, and the grace in your days.
You are not alone in this journey. God is with you every step of the way, equipping you to do all things with strength, love, and purpose.
Remember, you are a beloved daughter of the King, and He has equipped you to fulfill your calling—right where you are.
Keep trusting, keep serving, and keep walking in faith. You can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you.
