I’m so excited to be joining a group of amazing bloggers this week for the Christmas Home Tour Hop organized by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life If you are coming over from Grace In My Space , didn’t you love Sarah’s tour! Her style is so gorgeous! You can find a full list and links of those participating at the bottom of this post.
Welcome to our Winter Wonderland in The Northwoods of Wisconsin! Here in our area most of the homes, cabins and cottages are all on lakes. People give their lake houses names and put them on signs by their entrance and on the white arrow signs everywhere. That’s where my blog name comes from. Learn more here. We’ve had so much snow already this December! Just look at our bear sign!
Mother Nature is doing a lot of the Christmas decorating for us. The snow flocked trees are so beautiful down the roadsides.

Welcome to Camp Paradise!
Come up onto the porch and step inside to see a tour of our Great Room. You can see more of our front porch in this post.
As you come inside the entry there is a bench to sit and take off your boots.
Just past the bench is a sideboard that I always decorate for the seasons. For Christmas it holds our Nativity. The kitchen is just behind to the left and the dining room to the right. See more of how I style vignettes around our home here.
This Nativity was given to me as a gift in college 20 years ago and I have treasured it all these years.
The entry way opens up to the Great Room. It’s such a cozy space. We spend a lot of time sitting here as a family in the evenings talking by the fire.
One of my favorite finds recently were these white shutters with a green evergreen on them. I am always looking for something to add height to my styling on the mantel and I knew these would be perfect for Christmas! I can just picture the charming little cottage they came off of!
I love this pillow I found at Hobby Lobby. I knew after finding the shutters that I wanted greens and whites and lots of plaids to be my main colors this season. The plaid pillows and blankets are from TJ Maxx.
I put a little tree in this corner where the dining room opens up to the Great Room. I usually have our antler table and chess board here, but I move it for Christmas.
The tree is full of Northwoods ornaments about animals, adventure and lake life. Many of them I found at Target a few years ago.
We have a tree in the sunroom that’s decorated in reds and whites. A Frosty hat sits on top. It’s the first year we’ve put a tree out on the porch and we love it. Especially because the lights of the tree shine where you can see them when you pull in the driveway.
Now I’m going to go back and sit by the fire. It’s the perfect spot to sit and wrap gifts. The wrapping paper is from my son’s school fundraiser. I always love to buy their wrapping paper because it’s easy and they have unique and pretty patterns.
Thank you so much for coming to visit! Next up is the gorgeous home of The Woodgrain Cottage! You will love her tour!
If you are not already, I hope you will become a regular by signing up in the sidebar and following me on social media accounts.
