I love to stop in the local antique shops to see what treasures I can find. Some days I am looking for something in particular and many times I am just seeing what catches my eye. Once in a while I have a piece that I have been thinking about and walking past for a while that I finally decide the time is right to bring home.

Last week in the first booth at a local shop I spied this dark red cake saver. I loved the colors and the painted flowers on it. I thought would be perfect on my kitchen counter with my baked snacks underneath… So I brought it home and I love it! It keeps the treats out of sight, but still within reach. It looks like it could have been inspiration for The Pioneer Woman’s collection at Walmart doesn’t it?
