Our guest half bath is in a great location. Just as you come in the house in the wide open entry way next to the coat closet. It works well for kids running in from outside- no trampling through the whole house- before heading back out to play.
I decided to add one of my pairs of red vintage skis to the wall in the bathroom and an old camp stool and set of poles complete the look. You can see how I also decorate with skis here.
Because there is only a pedestal sink in the guest bath an adirondack style three drawer chest works well to keep things handy and organized. In the bottom drawer I keep rolls of extra toilet paper. A box of kleenex on top is essential. Someone is always looking for a kleenex and I have some at the ready.
I found the cute “Adventure” dish at Kohl’s and my lightly pine scented soaps at a local florist shop. The mirror was a wedding gift from Pier 1 back in 1998! Timeless gift!
I’m waiting to find a few pieces to add to the walls, a vintage travel poster or a piece from a local artist; I love the treasure hunt for new decor! I will update when I find what I’m looking for.
