Our Lakeland Area of Wisconsin’s Northwoods is a special place to come and visit. Some of my favorite things about the area:
- Beauty~ Being surrounded by lakes and forests.
- Living Lakeside
- Eagles~ I don’t think I can ever get tired of seeing bald eagles flying!
- Fresh Air
- Supper Clubs~ Dinner at Supper Clubs is a tradition in Wisconsin and we have MANY wonderful ones here. Friday Night Fish Fry, Saturday Prime Rib, Relish Trays, Ice Cream Drinks, and Cocktails! I’ll post more about Supper Clubs and their tradition soon.
- Outdoor Activities~ There are so many trails to bike, hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski on.
- Camping~ Beautiful campgrounds all around the area.
- Stargazing~ Laying on the dock and watching the stars, feeling like I can touch them.
- Celebrations~ Our local celebration is Beef-a-rama (I know, sounds crazy!)
- Shows~ Water ski shows, lumberjack shows
- Sunrises, Sunsets & Peace
