So many joys fill my week and I can’t wait to share them with you in my Sunday write up, From My Neck of the Woods.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK
- First JV football game for my youngest son. I love watching him play!
- A ride in the boat, a nap in the hammock, a swim and dock time. Our days are numbered!
- I made about 8 dozen cookies for the football team feed this week. It’s such a great tradition that they do a pasta feed the night before the Friday night games.
- My girls and I went over to Eagle River for a quick outing. My favorite stop there is Roots, juice bar.
What I’m Reading
This week I’l be sharing my Fireside Book Club Post and what I’m reading for the upcoming month of September.
I read a lot of books each month and I’ll give you my tips for how I fit it into my busy days.
You can add any of the books that sound good to you to your Want to Read List or read along with me.
I also love sharing new books I’m excited about from my friends and favorite authors.
My friend Stacy of Bricks n’ Blooms has a new book coming out in February.
She’s one of my friends who I get a lot of gardening tips from.
I’ve shared a lot of her posts with you over the years.
Her new book is coming out in February. You can preorder it HERE.

I’m closing this one out with ice cream!
We love heading to our favorite ice cream shop, What’s the Scoop, on Summer evenings.
It’s only open Memorial Day to Labor Day, so it’s a special treat!
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mine is any coffee, espresso, chocolate chunk flavor.
And I love it in a waffle cone!
I think what I like most about going out for ice cream, isn’t just the delicious treat, it’s making a family memory and being together.
The more of those we can add in each week the better!
