HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK
After reading my highlights you’ll think all I did was eat!
- We had new neighbors over to get to know them better and spent a wonderful evening of great conversation around a charcuterie board.
- We joined friends for a surprise dinner at Norwood Pines for a 60th birthday celebration.
- I met a friend for a glass of wine at The Boathouse to celebrate her birthday a few weeks late (after our original date was canceled by an April snowstorm!)
- I enjoyed a spontaneous lunch stop after a furniture delivery with my friend and shopkeep at the cutest little diner, The Toad in the Hole in Eagle River.
WELLNESS
I was able to enjoy two days of pilates, one yoga sculpt class and do one iFit workout with my husband this week.
I’m daily working on total wellness in mind, body and spirit.
Some days are harder than others, some I get off track, but I enjoy trying to get better every day.

WHAT I’M WATCHING
I binged a show on Magnolia this past week on a night when no one else was home!
It was about the journey of Joanna Gaines’ sister taking her dream for her little plant shop, Ferny’s, from pop ups to a full time storefront at The Silos called The Retro Plant Shop with Mikey and Jo.
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Anne Wilson has a new album, Rebel, that I’ve been really enjoying!
I love these lyrics from her song, Rain in the Rearview:
“When the storm rolls in and the sky won’t quit crying
And you’ve lost more tears than you thought you could ever lose
Oh, I swear somewhere out there, the sun is somewhere shining
So, drive, baby, drive, baby, drive ’til it shines on you
And leave the rain in the rearview.”
