When deciding a theme for a Mother’s Day brunch, the first thing that came to mind was a nest. My mother made our home the most wonderful, welcoming place to grow up with a life full of love and memories. A mama bird and her babies perch around cake stands and a vintage punch bowl. My birds are from Hobby Lobby.
My nest garlands came from Trig’s, a local florist and gift shop. I tucked a little “Mother” card inside the nest. Find these cards here.
The handprinted vintage glasses and caddy I found years ago at an antique shop and I enjoy pulling them out for special occasions. I love their shape and color. I have even used them to hold snacks, a different one in each glass, and with the carrier it is easy to take it to potlucks.
I always feel at home with my mom. This wooden sign is from Hobby Lobby. A birch vase holds faux branches and flowers from Hobby Lobby. Vintage yellow McCoy pots hold greenery balls. These faux plants add lots of texture and dimension. My plaid runner is from Lakeside Living.
