WEEKEND PLANS

How are you spending your Saturday?

We set no alarms this morning and that felt so good.

Heading out for breakfast or youngest son drove us who just got his driving temps, his first official drive.

We’ve been really enjoying the breakfasts at Lida’s, a new restaurant in town.

The service is outstanding and so is the atmosphere and food.

I hate admitting, that it is such a standout when there is attentive, friendly, fast service, but it has become rare.

Lida’s service staff is amazing. One of the things I noticed today was that every one working there sees what needs to be done and helps. It comes across effortless and easy.

Now we are watching our older son’s football game on tv.

We were planning to go to the game, but they moved it up earlier because of the heat.

With our varsity game last night, we would have had to get up super early for the drive down to the game so decided to watch from home.

What a blessing that came out of COVID time, the ease of watching school sporting events from home.

It lets all the grandparents always watch from anywhere too. What a great way to stay connected!
