How are you spending your Saturday?

I’m at Badger Hollow, our land in The Driftless, for the morning to check on the big projects we have going on.

We’ve have had to rip all the porches and decks off to rebuild them.

We’ve had to reside the whole house.

The bunk house is almost finished restaining.

The apples are ready to be picked.

Here’s a pic from picking a few years ago.

It’s so fun to look back at how much the kids have grown since we got the property.

It’s also the reason I take pics even of the work being done. To see the progress.

When we are in the middle of a project it can feel never ending.

So seeing past projects keeps me energized for the current one.

For example, here was our back patio project in THIS POST.
