The Summer is flying by! How is it August already? What a fun summer it is, we will savor every moment left of the season.

How are you spending your Saturday?

We’ve been back from Montana for almost a week now with another fun week of time as a family.

While in Montana we did all our favorite Summer mountain activities and picked a bunch of huckleberries.

My oldest daughter leaves for Germany in a month to be an au pair for the next year. My son in college stayed in Iowa for the Summer to train with several of his teammates for their upcoming football season, but he was in Montana with us and home this week. So I’m treasuring any time we have together as a family.

Many of you have already traveled this road ahead of me as children grow up, move away and chase their dreams. I’m loving watching how God is using them and their gifts, but feel nostalgic for the years when I got to be with them every day. So each day is a blessing and if my kids are around the blessings spill over!
