Thanksgiving is a special time full of traditions in our family. And Thanksgiving Day takes the most space in our memories, not just for the amazing food, but for the time all together lingering around the table.
I’m excited to share our Thanksgiving Tablescape as part of the tour hosted by Kristi of French Creek Farmhouse. Each day Kristi is featuring four or five tables. You will find inspiration in a variety of styles sure to give you ideas for your own Holiday Table. Thanks to Kristi for all her hard work on this tour! You can follow her link to see all the other gorgeous tables today!
When I am setting a table I usually have one piece that is the springboard for the whole design. I pulled out one of my favorite vintage tablecloths full of fall florals. The colors influenced the rest of the table.

I found these large burgundy leaves at The Dollar Tree. I thought they would make beautiful placemats.
Then I layered chargers from Walmart.
Then red dishes from The Dollar Tree.
While out treasure hunting at a local antique shop I found this Johnson Brothers Autumn Delight china collection. I was so excited to find such a perfect pattern to compliment my tablescape! This discontinued pattern has beautifully scalloped edges around it’s bunches of fall fruits.
I layered a bowl next and set a tea cup of the same pattern to the side.
I picked up two bouquets of seasonal flowers at the grocery store and arranged them into my vintage green vases down the center of the table.
I love mixing the colors of the fall bouquets and the elegance of roses with the relaxed mums.
Wine tumblers from The Dollar Tree work for water or wine.
If you know me, you know curse words rarely leave my mouth, but phrases like “Good Gravy!” often do! 😉 I found this gravy boat at TJ Maxx that had “my words” on it! I couldn’t believe it! It adds so fun to the table too! I took a little buffalo plaid bowl and turned it upside down to give the gravy boat a little stand.
Thank you so much for coming to “visit” me today! I am so honored to have been included in this tour. Be sure to head to Kristi’s post on French Creek Farmhouse to see the other beautiful tables on tour today and check back each day this week for more!

This is just beautiful!! You do the Northwoods look wonderfully! I like how the chairs are arranged around the table for the photographs. I’m stealing that idea for the next time I do a tablescape. 🙂

Your table setting is gorgeous and those white and brown dishes are lovely.
Thanksgiving is special for our family too. This year is extra special because our daughter is hosting 14 people. She is so excited that our family is making the 6 hour drive to join her and our son-in-law’s family. She has always wanted to do the hosting and won’t let me help with anything.

How much fun Carol! That will be so special for her to host this year!! You sit back and relax!
