There are so many ways to give your house vintage home style decorating with soda crates. They are one of my favorite things to collect.
I always have my eye out for vintage soda crates when I am at a vintage market or antique shop. Even though I don’t drink soda, I love the nostalgia of them and the fun typeset and colors on them. There are so many fun ways to use them in decor and for entertaining.
Shelves
Turning the crate on it’s side you can use them as shelves. You can set them on a counter or hang them on the wall. I recently decorated one as a shelf after doing some succulent DIYs.
Stacked Up
I love how the crates look stacked up. I layered two of them on the bottom shelf of a side table in my sunroom. Then, I placed a third one on top of the table and styled it for Summer. See more of my Summer Decor here.
Entertaining
I often use my soda crates for entertaining. They work great for carrying drinks to the dock, holding smore’s fixings or taking along to a potluck.
Holiday Vignettes
You can get creative with your soda crates. They work great as a tree stand at Christmas or a Spring basket full of flowers. I had fun staging them for Valentine’s!
Storage
Vintage soda crates work so great for controlling clutter. You can use them to make your pantry prettier or to corral toys or books. The options are endless and fun!
Centerpieces
A colorful foundation is found in vintage soda crates for your table centerpieces.
