This month’s challenge is a Fall Cloche inspired by Home Stories A to Z.
If you are coming over from Sweet Pea, my friend Paula always inspires me and I’m sure she did you too!
My Take on the Inspiration Photo
I loved how she has rope on the top of her cloche and I thought about doing rope as well because I love how it gives it a nautical look, but I went with a Fall colored plaid ribbon.
The hydrangeas right now are turning from their mid summer white to late summer green.
I loved how she used hydrangeas around the cloche. I pulled some in for my vignette too.
Inside the cloche I put a little white pumpkin and little white guard I got in a bag of pumpkins at Walmart.
Around the cloche instead of acorns I did little wood chips. Our acorns are just starting to drop and are still a bit green so I went with one of my favorite little accents for my cabin, the little wood slices I got by the bag at Hobby Lobby. Here’s another project I did with them.
Next up on the tour you are off to my dear friend Rachel’s at The Ponds Farmhouse You will love her post!

Very pretty, like the wood slices in place of the acorns. I have 100s of real acorns, love them.
Love the camera shown too.

Great job adding a different flair to the challenge, Kristin! I love the pop of color and that great vintage camera. I wish we could grow hydrangeas in my neck of the woods. I’ll bet they look stunning next to your place.

I love your cloche, Kristin! The white gourd and pumpkin look very pretty under glass and the orange plaid ribbon works perfectly in lieu of the rope. Our acorns are just beginning to fall and weren’t ready, either. Really pretty!!!
Love your website and blog’s new look!
Hugs,
Barb 🙂

I love how you added a pop of color to your cloche with the orange plaid bow tied to the top of it. The entire display is so pretty and just perfect for decor this time of year.

Definitely like the ribbon accent as a stand in for the rope, kristin. And log slices are the perfect accent for your home! I’m totally ready for Fall vibes, if we can just get some relief from the heat! Sorry to have had to miss this challenge this round; always love the variety of inspiration!
