Fifteen beautiful Patriotic Porchesp are being shared on this tour to give you ideas for your own outdoor decor during the summer season. I’m so honored to be a part of it! A big thank you to Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home for organizing!
Welcome to our lakeside cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin! Our guest house porch is ready and waiting for our visitors’ arrival. If you are coming over from Cecelia at My Thrift Store Addiction didn’t you love her enamelware herb pots!

One of the best parts of decorating a lake house, is that patriotic and nautical decor is not just for the Fourth of July, it works for the whole summer.
Red, whites and blues, stars and stripes, mixing old and new pieces, these are all essential elements for my patriotic porch.
A favorite summer geranium door swag is easily made patriotic by adding in dollar store flags.
I don’t usually have a wreath on the guest house door. So when I want to add one, I simply use a Command Strip Hook.
This vintage, wooden All American tennis racket got to come home with me after a recent visit to a flea market for $3!
I love to “shop my home” and find pieces from around the house to pull my porch decor together. A blue gingham Ralph Lauren throw pillow is mixed in with an anchor pillow and flag pillow all found at Home Goods.
I rarely drink soda, but when I do, it’s classic Coca Cola. How about you… Coke or Pepsi? This vintage minnow bucket makes a great ice cooler.
Corn Hole or “Bags”, as we call it, is a favorite summer game at our house.
A vintage thermos becomes a vase for more dollar store flags and a George Washington Pipe Tobacco tin add touches of Americana.

Kristin I always think your home is perfect no matter the season! You are right, it certainly lends itself to patriotic and nautical touches and you have put everything together beautifully! I don’t drink any soda either, but when I did it was “Always Coco-Cola!” As I shared on my early summer home tour, it just doesn’t seem like summer without some vintage Coke nostalgia.
As usual, you have made me want to come up and visit for a little vacation! I hope you savor every beautiful moment of summer at Camp Paradise!

*Coca-Cola
I must have chocolate on the brain! I don’t know what “Coco-Cola” is but it might be good!
