What fun to participate in the Spring Tea Party Blog Hop again this year! Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home is hosting an organizing all the beauty and inspiration from 24 amazing bloggers! You can find the full line up with links at the bottom of my post so you won’t miss out on any of the tea parties.
If you are coming over from Bluesky at Home, welcome! Didn’t you love all the beautiful colors she used and that tea pot! So pretty! I’m glad you are now joining me here at White Arrows Home! I blog about life in our lakeside log cabin home in The Northwoods of Wisconsin.
Tea cups are one of my favorite things to collect! They are one of my 10 Vintage Items to Collect for Under $10! Some of my tea cups are in matching sets and some are mismatched. I love them all!
Reading Tea
I love to sit and drink coffee or tea while reading in a favorite chair! I also love to collect vintage books with beautiful covers and outdoor titles!
Tea For Two
One of my favorite things to do is to have tea or coffee with a friend. I try to do it at least once a week to catch up with a friend or get to know a new one.
These napkins were needlepointed by my grandmother. I feel so blessed to have had them passed down to me! I treasure family heirlooms!
I love collecting milk glass and McCoy Pottery and filling them with fresh or faux flowers. I also love cake stands.
I love this Lake View Cottage sign from my store.
See more of how I love to style my tea cup collection in this post!
Bedtime Tea
One of the things I have started to do recently is drink tea at bedtime.

Kristin, I love the thought of meeting a friend for tea to catch up. You’ve created a sweet, cozy and intimate setting. I’ve needlepointed for years, I’ve never thought of needlepoint napkins ~ great idea!

Love those blue vases and napkins from your grandmother. I wish more people would crochet and embroidery more (me included). Seems like now most people will be passing down a napkin collection from Homegoods. :0 Always love your rustic setting. Beautiful!

Hi Kristin, your home is so amazing, I love how you’ve combined feminine teacups and vases with your rustic cabin decor. I’m crazy about your wonderful old books and especially the plaid covered edition. Nothing like a good book and a cup of sleepytime tea at bedtime!

I always enjoy seeing how you style and enjoy your vintage finds, Kristen. The book covers that you shared are so interesting as was your tea cup collection and your grandmother’s napkins. I enjoyed every picture you shared in this post!

You always have a fabulous collection of goodies, Kristin! I love all your different teacups and those napkins your Granny stitched are super cool. I think it’s fabulous you drink tea at bedtime. I always say I’m going to do that but then I get to folding clothes or cleaning up. I need to take a page from your book and start though, it looks so relaxing! Hugs and Happy Mother’s Day, CoCo

Thanks so much CoCo! I can get busy like that at night too. I tend to be a night owl, but I love the nights that I relax instead!

Kristin,
Visiting your house is always a treat for me. I enjoy seeing your log house in the woods all during the year and love seeing your collection of vintage plaids, tins, and baskets. Those two green baskets bring images of a picnic in the woods with a blanket, a good book, and a thermos of hot tea.
Hope you get Spring in your neck of the woods soon!!!!

Better late than never! Here I finally am, and I saved one of the best for last!
I always enjoy a visit to White Arrows Home with all of your vintage accent pieces! I just got in from a trip to Joann’s and I know they aren’t vintage, but they have some really fun “lake life” accent pieces if you haven’t seen them yet this year. Now, your tea cups are so cute all stacked up and you are so right, about those being something you could collect for under $10! Those might be a fun thing for my granddaughters to collect as we visit vintage stores. I love the covers of those classic books. I have a couple of books that were my Mother’s when she was a child, what a treasure. It was a joy to hop with you again!

THanks Clhloe for the sweet comments!! I absolutely love the idea of your granddaughter’s starting a collection as you visit antique shops together!! My heart just melted. I just added Joann’s to my to do list!
