Happy Fall! I am so glad to welcome you to Camp Paradise, our log cabin, lakeside in the Wisconsin Northwoods, to share our porch decor this season on the Fall Porches and Patios Tour!

This year I decided to use an orange and red color scheme.
I always love to pull in some of my vintage pieces and my Scotch Cooler and plaid, metal picnic basket work perfectly.
These orange mums are my favorite this season. Last year I used yellow and burgundy mums. See last year’s porch here.
My vintage Schwin bike brings home the pumpkins.
My husband built this sweet little fence to hide the garbage cans. I pulled together some fall plants, mums and a summer fern still in good shape around my bistro table to make a cozy sitting area.
I love sticking pumpkins around the yard. I added one on top of a wreath on a stump.

Kristin, what a lovely lakeside home. I’m one who loves fall with all it’s earthy colors and those pops of orange. Your vintage picnic basket and Scotch cooler are making my heart flutter. Wonderful pieces anytime of year, but perfect for a fall vignette. Thanks for sharing your fall touches. The five pumpkins on the fence definitely made this retired elementary teacher smile.

Kristin I love it all as usual! I would never have thought of red and orange together like this. So original and inspiring! Using the Scotch plaid really pulled it all together. The five little pumpkins are adorable.

I am loving the use of ferns in fall decor. A few years ago I realized they really don’t die out until November so why toss them?

I love your sweet Wisconsin mountain home! Hubby and I visited Door County one year and loved everything about it. I have such a fetish for plaid, but didn’t pull any of them outside this year. I have one container that faded so badly from the sun. They sure do look cute and I love your bike!

I never tire of seeing your beautiful log house in the woods. With all the glorious natural wooded areas, your home looks decorated without anything additional added by you, but your groupings go perfectly with all the big outdoors. The pumpkin in the wreath of colorful leaves, the pumpkins on the stone wall, and the foliage backdrop around your house and driveway are truly Fall scenes. I love the green and deep orange mottled pumpkins with your green plaid vintage containers and rust chrysanthemums. And, how could anyone not love your bike decked out with Fall splendor! LOVE IT ALL…

Your vintage coolers are always a great addition to your seasonal displays, but they seem particularly fitting for fall with their classic plaid patterns. All of your pumpkins set agains your stone walls and stone steps are a great contrast in color and texture! Happy Fall!
