I am so excited to welcome you to Camp Paradise, our lake house in The Northwoods of Wisconsin as part of the Spring Home Tour Blog Hop organized by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life. It’s such an honor to join in as 30 amazingly talented home decor bloggers welcome you into our homes to see how we have decorated for Spring.
If you are coming over from Decorating Delirium, didn’t you love her home? You can find a full list and links to all the blogs on the tour at the bottom of this post so you won’t miss any of the inspiration.
Where we live, way Up North, Winter is long. This Winter we got over 100 feet of snow! We love our Winters though. You can see the fun we have in this post. Our first snowfall is typically in October and we still have snow when Spring officially begins. But even though it doesn’t look like Spring outside yet, inside I love changing things up.

I added spring green pillows to my buffalo plaid chairs to give an easy seasonal update. A stack of green books makes an instant end table.
I love to be inspired by what is outside my windows. Woods full of birch trees, moss and twigs. I filled a dough bowl with moss and twig balls and birch branches I found at Hobby Lobby.
I updated our mantel with brass, wood and greenery. My mantel is my favorite thing to decorate.
These botanical prints I found last year at Hobby Lobby and I was excited to use them again.
These brass hurricanes were part of my Winter decor, but I have reinvented them for Spring by taking the candles out and adding in greenery from Hobby Lobby.
This vintage green typewriter is one of my favorite treasures. I found it at the best Vintage Market, Duluth Junk Hunt. One of the easiest ways to add a touch of spring is bright flowers. I love adding yellow roses in one of my vintage green vases.
Bringing out green and yellow accessories are one of the ways I bring add Spring decor.
See more of my Spring decor this year in this post. I’m so glad you joined me for this little tour. Next up you are heading to Life On Cedar Lane, for more inspiration. The full line up is below.

I love your gorgeous log home and how you have created the feel of spring with your addition of pretty greens. Changing out the lanterns from candles to greenery is such a fabulous idea. I need to remember that. Thanks so much for joining the 2019 Spring Home Tour.

I always love visiting your fun, campy home. It is so well put together. I’m in process of doing a camp/pioneer themed guest room for our grandson (even though we live in Florida) and get great ideas from your beautifully styled vignettes. Where did you get the pillow that looks like a paint by number painting?

Thanks Pamela! That will be so cute!! What a great idea! I found the pillow at a local gift shop/florist. I will try to find more information.

Hey, Kristin–welcome to the tour! Your cabin is just gorgeous and so cozy. My eyes bugged out of my head at “100 feet of snow” because I’m in North Carolina, but what fun that must be! By the way, I love your old typewriter, too.

Isn’t that crazy! I think the snow piles on the edge of our driveway will be there til July!! Thanks so much Christy for the sweet compliments!
