Clearing away the winter decor off the front porch is so refreshing. Many of the winter decor pieces have been there since the beginning of December and I feel ready for the change.
This year I decided to use inspiration from those first sounds and sights of spring. Birds and Flowers. I’m excited to share our porch decor as part of a Spring Blog Hop with 23 other talented bloggers sharing decor ideas and recipes!
I have been so inspired by this Spring Blog Tour! Have you enjoyed the Tablescapes and Vignettes shared earlier this week and the Recipes shared yesterday? If you didn’t get a chance to visit those bloggers you can find a complete list of all the posts with links on this tour at the bottom of this page. I’m in awe of the beautiful homes decorated for Spring! Thanks so much to Kendra, Joy In Our Home, for including me and organizing this Hop!
For the winter season I had plaid blankets hanging on each rung of this chippy vintage ladder. For spring I replaced them with a whimsical + colorful wreath. I used a wreath door hanger to hang it from the ladder.

This Old Hickory bench is usually kept inside at the foot of our bed. During the winter I had our red bistro table on the porch and decided I wanted to use a bench, so I could load it with throw pillows! I also brought one of my garden stools from Walmart out from winter storage.
One of my favorite things about the recent buffalo plaid trend is that this pattern has always been, and will always be, in style here in the Northwoods. It’s timeless! I enjoyed being able to find so many buffalo plaid decor items at such great prices in favorite stores, like these pillows from Hobby Lobby. The needlepoint bee pillow is from one of my favorite companies, Chandler 4 Corners.
A vintage red pot holds bright yellow tulips and daffodils next to a new entry rug from Walmart. “Hello Sunshine!”
I collect vintage McCoy pots. I brought out a few yellow ones and added some faux succulents from Hobby Lobby inside. This cute “Just Bee” sign is also from Hobby Lobby.
Thanks so much for visiting! I’m excited to send you over to DIY Beautify for your next Spring Porch stop on the tour. (See full schedule and links at bottom of post.)
