One inspiration photo gives a group of bloggers a fun challenge to find their own look in recreating the image.
Thanks so much to Cindy of CountyRoad407 for organizing another fun Pinterest Challenge. Each month a group of talented bloggers join together to recreate a photo off Pinterest giving it their own twist.
(Affiliate links are used for your convience. Read my full disclosure here.)
All the bloggers use the same inspiration photo. This month it comes from Northern Feeling , a snow scene in a glass jar.
If you are coming over from Sweet Pea, weren’t you in awe of her gorgeous jar scene? You can find a full line up of all the participants at the bottom on this post. Now you are visiting White Arrows Home where I write about life at our lakeside log cabin home and what’s unique about Northwoods life.
Elements I Saw + Wanted to Incorporate
One of the fun things about this project is that there are so many options for what to use for the supplies. For the Jar I decided to us a glass canister I already had at home. At one point it held all my Kcups by the Keurig.
When I was at Hobby Lobby last week I looked at the options they had for faux snow. Who knew there were so many!
Bottle brush trees are so much fun to use in Christmas projects because they are so nostalgic and whimsical.
For the house I found the cutest plaid house at Hobby Lobby. It even has a puff of cotton smoke curling up from the chimney.
And the house turns on and glows from a switch underneath.
I love this jar and how it makes great decor for the Holidays anywhere I put it.
Next up is my friend Chrissy of First Day of Home. You will be so inspired by her take on the inspiration!
